Descrizione
Born as the “second wine” of the Farm, starting from 2008, in consideration of the increasingly consistent quality of the sapling systems, this wine has become in effect the Riserva par excellence of the Romagna Sangiovese Superiore appellation. Its important drink, but still able to match even more informal situations, makes it a wine of pleasant use and usable even by less experienced palates. In some vintages, to enhance the fruity character, without losing reference to the Sangiovese, even small percentages of Merlot can be introduced, never more than 5-6%.
Selection during the harvest and careful refinement are therefore the same as those of top wines and the results obtained amply demonstrate this.
